He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Suggs and Margaret Abernathy Suggs; his wife Hazel Suggs; his son Ricky Dean Ramsey; and his sisters, Patricia Suggs, Brenda Autry and Connie Lingerfelt.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Dean Ramsey and Lisa Mathis Greene (Richard); his siblings, Ray Suggs, Jr. of Rockingham, Charlie Suggs of Texas, Jerry Suggs of Gastonia, William Suggs of Gastonia, Jimmy Suggs of Gastonia, Larry Suggs of Shelby, Carolyn Hozey of Clinton, SC, Shirley McLoud of Atlanta, Janice Moore of York, SC and Jenny Ford of York, SC; his grandchildren, Brittany Mathis, Tiffany, Stephanie Ramsey, Chasity Greene and Kenneth Greason (Tamara); his great grandchildren, Austin Young, McKenzie K. Wilson, Riley Noblet, Delaney Greason and Samuel Wilson; and his godchildren, Jacob and Briana Wilson.
