He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sally Martens Trotter; his children, Christy Turner (Spence) of Wilmington and David Bumgardner (Katrina); his siblings, Carroll Trotter of Bessemer City, Dale Trotter of Bessemer City, Mark Trotter of Stanley and Janet Ratchford of Stanley; his grandchildren, Allie Turner of Wilmington, Chelsie Willard (Dalton), Ryan Turner of Wilmington and Brian Bumgardner; his great grandchild Dean Willard of Carson Bumgardner; his stepson Scott Hudson; and his stepgrandchildren, Shana Hudson and Roger Scott Hudson (Junior).
