He is survived by: his wife Martha Hughes; his children, Brian Hughes (Tammy) of Kings Mountain and Kandice Thomas (Terry) of Gastonia; his sister Paulette Cavender of Bessemer City; and his grandsons, Brandon, Tyler and Bradley Hughes.
