We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2020, at the age of 88, Ruth Barnette McGee (Bessemer City, North Carolina), born in Cross Anchor, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Barnette and Docie McAbee Barnette; her husband Thomas Wallace McGee; her children, Lewis, Tommy McGee, Darlene and Lois McGee; and her brothers, James, Paul, Lewis and Fred Barnette Ruth.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Kirksey (Ricky) of Bessemer City, Martha Smith (Mike) of Sharon, SC, Rosanne Whitlow of Lancaster, SC, Terry McGee (Melissa) of Clover, SC, Jimmy McGee (Shirley) of Dallas, NC and Donna McGee of Clover, SC. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
