She was predeceased by: her parents, Ransom Verlin and Etta Swink Smith; and her husband Rev. Clint H. Day. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Melton (John), Patricia Black, Mike Day, Tim Day, Carol Tart (Ron) and Teresa Day. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; 3 sisters; 3 brothers.
