It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronnie Lee Philbeck of Bessemer City, North Carolina, who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lee and Kathleen Irene Spurling Philbeck; his wife Annemarie Glaab Philbeck; his children, Susan Haney, Kathleen Adair and Ronnie Philbeck Jr.; and his brother Jimmy Philbeck.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Philbeck (Sherry) of Blacksburg, SC, Patricia Philbeck of Bessemer City, NC, Rebecca Lysek (Frank) of Kings Mountain, NC and Barbara Varner (Scott) of Enoree, SC; and his siblings, Ann Allen, Pat Martin, Roger Philbeck, Tommy Philbeck (Meli), Randy Philbeck and Bobbie Humphries (David). He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (108 S Piedmont Ave, Kings Mountain, NC 28086). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel (106 S Piedmont Ave, Kings Mountain, NC 28086).
