We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2020, at the age of 78, Rodney Emory (Bessemer City, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Emory and Lucille Long Emory. He is survived by: his wife Chip Baldwin Emory; his children, Leslie Sheek of Birmingham, AL and Dr. Sidney Emory (Stacy) of Greenwood, SC; his siblings, Frieda Brock (Dean) of Gastonia, Love Emory (Peggy) of Bessemer City and Terry Emory, Sr. (Karen) of Mount Holly; and his grandchildren, Kayla S Porter (Marshall), Jordan Sheek, Wes Emory, Will Emory and Bonnie Emory. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
