He is survived by: his mother Cindy McCarter Gregg (Mike); his brother Phillip McCarter (Celia) of Fort Mill, SC; his nieces and nephews, Kyle, Noah, Lydia and Quentin; his uncle Jimmy McCarter (Kathy) of Lenoir, NC; his cousins, Wesley, Bridget, Aubrie, Ellen McCarter of Rural Hall, NC, Grayson McCarter of Lenoir, NC, Joseph, Alesia, Carleigh and Hayden of Ridgeway, VA.; and his friend Tim Biddix.
