She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence W. Banks, Sr.; her son Anthony Joseph Banks; her granddaughter Stephanie Lynn Moose (Stevie); and her brother Michael Anthony "Jeep" DeRitis. She is survived by: her husband Edward Sudderth; her children, Larry Banks of Cornelius, Michael Banks (Christa Poole) of Mt, Toni Lucas (Chris Moise) of Charlotte and Rita Moose (Mark) of Charlotte; and her siblings, Maria DeRitis and Margie Knox (John). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; as well as 2 nieces.
