She was predeceased by: her parents, Spencer Harrison and Cora Pauline Todd Hutchens; her husband James Harrison Christopher; and her grandson Fabian Glenn Christopher. She is survived by: her children, Richard Christopher (Tina) of Gastonia, Ricky Christopher of Lincolnton, Donald Wayne Christopher of Bessemer City, MaryAnn Jones (Chris) of Kinston, NC, Linda Mintz (Michael) of Gastonia and Lisa Marfino (Jim) of Wagener, SC. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
