She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Jack Whetstine and Lucy Axsom Whetstine; her husband William Henry James; and her grandson Wesley White. She is survived by: her sons, Billy James (Kelly) and Steve James (Ruthy); her sister Carrie Bradley (Keith); her grandchildren, Megan, Bradley, Travis, Dani and Desi; her great grandchild Tatum; her sister-in-law Sue Whetstine; and her pet Spike. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, special friends.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at 1123 Edgewood Rd, Bessemer City, NC 28016.
