She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wilkie and Theodocia Hooper Wilkie; her grandson Michael Wooten; her sons-in-law, Ken Wooten and Don McClain; and her siblings, Leonard Wilkie, Glen Wilkie, Jack Wilkie, Earl Wilkie, Troy Wilkie, Clyde Wilkie, Gertrude McDaniel and Ola Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jackie Wooten and Gail McClain; her sister Jean Allen; her grandchildren, Greg Wooten (Lisa), Donnie "Don" McClain (Leslie), Susan McClain Crowe (Ben) and Christy Drum (Jeff); and her great grandchildren, Benjamin "Ben" McClain, Alex Grellner (Michael), Samantha McClain Schenck (Rex), Trevor Swinford, Kylie Swinford, Logan Drum and Tyler Drum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Baptist Church or to Cancer Services of Gaston County.
