She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Blake and Mamie Runyons Blake; her brothers, Fred and Avery; and her stepgrandson Darrell Bain.
She is survived by: her children, John Austin Mason (Pam) of Shelby and Roxanne Mason Bain (Ken) of Bessemer City; her granddaughter Margaret Catherine Mason Smith (Nathan); her stepgranddaughters, Wanda Johnson of Sanford and Crystal Hall of Sanford; her nieces, Brenda Blake Davis (Jerry) of Bessemer City and Cindi Wallace Barr (Curtis) of Bessemer City; her friend Shirley Atkins of Gastonia; and also Lizzie.
