She was predeceased by: her brother Jerry Lee Gulledge; and her siblings-in-law, Allen Ernest Bullard and Becky Phillips Gulledge. She is survived by: her parents, Charlie Whaleon Gulledge and Mable Novella Lawing Gulledge; her son Justin L. Smith; her siblings, Curt Gulledge, Janice Bullard and Pat Gulledge; her sister-in-law Gina Gulledge; her grandchildren, Kayden and Makenzie Smith; her nieces and nephews, Brooke Taylor (Brian), Ashley Gulledge and Amanda Bullard; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Johnathan, Hannah, Serena and Elijah. She is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles.
