Leila Jeanette Pettis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leila Jeanette Pettis (Bessemer City, North Carolina), born in Andalusia, Alabama, who passed away on December 28, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert E. Pettis; her children, John "Randy" Pettis, Leila Gail Gormly (Daniel Gormly), Wanda Marie McDonald (David McDonald) and Michelle Diane Pettis (Allan Brown); her daughter-in-law Cheryl Ann Pettis; her sister Lindal W. Rutherford; her grandchildren, Krissy McDaniel (Christopher McDaniel), Dawn Witherington (Lee Witherington), Michael Gormly (Stefanie Gormly), Shawna Mills (Daniel Mills), Robbie McDonald (LauraLee McDonald) and Brendan Pettis (Caroline Pettis); her great grandchildren, Elizabeth McDaniel, Chloe Prescott (Blake Prescott), Harley McDaniel, Mimi McDonald, Miyah Mills, Grayson McDaniel, Stella Mills, Emily McDaniel, Jakeb Witherington and Addison Pettis; her great great grandchildren, Landon McDaniel, Lucas McDaniel and Briar Rose Prescott; and her mother Jeanette.
