He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman David Bolynn and Rosa Rowe Bolynn; and his siblings, Louise Spencer, Liller Glaze, Jeanette Oliver, Linda Bolynn, Harvey Bolynn and Nelson Bolynn.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Shane Bolynn (Joy) of Burlington, NC and Crystal Ellis (Jason) of Gastonia, NC; his wife Sharon Bolynn of Bessemer City; his grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Madison Smith, Peyton Bolynn and Isabelle Bolynn; his great grandchild Kaidon McDaniel; and his brother Lester Bolynn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cherryville Post 100 baseball team.
