He was predeceased by: his mother Christine L. Fowler; and his brothers, Sonny Whitlock and Bobby Rector. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Costner Whitlock; his children, David Whitlock (Teresa) and Nicole Beason (Mickey); his grandchildren, Brandon Hargrave and Brooklyn Whitlock; and his sisters, Carolyn Garrison and Kathy Lewis.
