He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Kimsey and Hazel Kimsey. He is survived by: his wife Ann Rhinehardt Kimsey; his sons, Chad Derek Kimsey and Matthew Colt Kimsey; his granddaughter Kelly Kimsey; his sisters, Kila Sullivan (Brian), Karen Faye Kimsey and Pamela Renee Kimsey Smith (Walter); his aunts, Kathy Schronce and Betty Gunter Smith; his sister-in-law Loretta Reddick; his pet Lucy; and also James Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beech Avenue Baptist Church (1206 W Ashton Ave, Gastonia, NC 28052). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at 1123 Edgewood Rd, Bessemer City, NC 28016.
