He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Howell and Beulah Lawson Howell. He is survived by: his wife Dee Dee Parker Howell of Bessemer City, NC; his children, Don Allen (Missy) of Blacksburg, SC. and Tina Lanford (Robby) of Dallas, NC.; his grandchildren, Brittany Allen, Justin Lanford (Miranda), Tosha Bradshaw (Zach), Brad Allen, Trey Allen (Brittany), Erika Blackmon (Matthew), Kelci Allen (Brandon Jones) and Kristina Allen; and his great grandchildren, Cam Jones, Wilder Lee Jones, Presli Lanford and Rosie Lanford.
