It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jo Haynes of Bessemer City, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on March 2, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Mauney and Alice Elizabeth Beam Mauney; and her sister Dorothy Bridges. She is survived by: her husband Hoyle Lester Haynes; her sons, Harlan Haynes (Elizabeth LeGrande) and Vincent Haynes (Regina); her siblings, Dalton Mauney (Lucille), Mary Lou Bridges Mauney (Dennis M.), Dennis E. Mauney (Penny) and Sharon Mauney Allen (David); her grandchildren, Alan Haynes, Misty Chick, Lucas Haynes and Carson Haynes; and her great grandchildren, Zachary, Kayla, Aiden, Brixton, Caroline and Grayson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
