She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Eugene Clouse; her parents, Charles Surratt and Ethyl Carpenter Surratt; her sisters, Mary Hager and Joyce Neal; and her nieces, Vickie Grigg and Debbie Hager.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Bumgardner (Steve); and her grandsons, Christopher Bumgardner of Bessemer City and David Bumgardner of Raleigh.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, Bessemer City or Gaston Hospice.
