She was predeceased by: her father John Marshall; her husband Ernest Hugh Carpenter, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Rachel Carpenter; and her siblings, Shirley Hayes, Ray Bivens, Velda Williams, Ruby Lail, Betty Jo Bivens, Tommy Bivens and Richard Bivens.
She is survived by: her children, Libby Wyont, Ernest Carpenter Jr. and Todd Carpenter (Sandy); her sister Pat Smith (Charles); and her grandchildren, S. Shane Wyont, Christopher Wyont, Michael Humphries and Emma Heavner.
