In the sacred silence of farewell, Jason Dale is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thomas Matherly and Evelyn Johnston Ivester. He is survived by: his wife Donna Matherly; his son Jason Matherly (Jennifer); his brothers, Jeff Matherly (Mary), Jerry Matherly (Yvonne) and Joe Matherly (Melody); and his close friend Jason Zucker. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greene Funeral Services - South Chapel (1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery (800 N 13th St, Bessemer City, NC 28016).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Jason's name.
