It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Richard Christopher Sr. of Bessemer City, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harrison Christopher and Mary Hutchens Christopher. He is survived by: his children, Little Richard (Stephanie), Christa Stang, Amanda Perkins (Brian), Darrell Christopher (Kimberly), Adam Barber, Joey Christopher (Taylor), Casey Christopher, Caleb Christopher (Sam) and Zach Christopher; and his siblings, Ricky Christopher, Donald Wayne Christopher (Karen), MaryAnn Jones (Chris), Linda Mintz and Lisa Marfino. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
