He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Hardy and Alice Hardy; his wife Gladys Geraldine Hardy; and his granddaughter Heather Abernathy. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Hardy and Barry Hardy (Becky) of Dallas; and his siblings, Donald Hardy (Rhonda) of Dallas and Brenda Hepler (Tim) of Bessemer City.
Memorials may be made to Anthony Grove Baptist Church Building Fund and Hospice of Gaston County.
