It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Harris Parker of Bessemer City, North Carolina, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Harris and Sopheea Trakas Harris; her husband Walter "Wassie" Parker; her son Gordon Parker; and her sisters, Amelia Simmers and Beverly Voyles.
She is survived by: her son Jeffery Parker (Susan); her grandchildren, Stacey Austell (Jason) and Lindsay Parker (Stephanie); and her great grandchildren, Grant, Emerson, Ansley Austell, Nicholas and Olivia Parker.
