It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Kenneth Wyont of Bessemer City, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Thomas and Alice Davis Wyont; and his wife Thelma Wyont. He is survived by: his children, Kristal Luke (Brian), Bob Wyont (Beverley) and Lloyd Ballew (Barbara); his siblings, Becky Murray and Reggie Wyont; his grandchildren, Bethany Luke, Abigail Luke, Joshua Luke, Adelista Ballew, Iliana Ballew and Brandon Wyont; his daughter Frances Kellar Wyont; and his cousin Larry Davis.
