It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George McGill (Bessemer City, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on March 14, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Harvey McGill and Gertrude Elizabeth Huggins McGill; his son Shane McGill; and his sister Vicki Bradley. He is survived by: his daughters, Tonia Yarab (Jeff) and Crystal Jackson; his sisters, Debbie Holland, Beckie Wyatt and Lynn Faulkner (Jimmy); and his grandchildren, Michael McGill, Kristen Christie, Amber Jackson, Steven Yarab, Baylee McGill Yarab and Timmy McGill Yarab. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
