It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Allman of Bessemer City, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Clayton Allman and Ethel Heavner Allman; and his wife Annie Hullender Allman. He is survived by: his daughters, Deana Jackson (Dickie) of Cherryville and Jeannie Allman of Cherryville; and his sisters, Mary Helen Alexander of Shelby and Brenda Lawson of Black Mountain. He is also survived by three grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
