It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Lineberger (Bessemer City, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on April 15, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Richard Lineberger; his brothers, Larry Lineberger and Tommy Lineberger; his sister-in-law Linda Lineberger; his sister Mary Sue Brooks; and his brother-in-law Wilford Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Stroupe Lineberger; his children, Scott Lineberger of Bessemer City, Patricia Ann Mathis (Eddie) of Forest City and Linda L. Anderson (Cecil) of Gastonia; and his sister Betty Faye Lineberger of Dallas. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
