We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2023, at the age of 97, Ernest Claude Kinley of Bessemer City, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee and Sarah Cordelia Clark Kinley; his son Jerry Lee Kinley; and his siblings, Samuel Kinley, Carroll Kinley, Everette Kinley of William Kinley, J. D, Marshall Kinley, Ethel Helderman, Viola Cloninger and Stella Kinley.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen McSwain Kinley; his children, Boyce Kinley (Jody) and Diane Smith (Darrell); his grandchildren, Brenda Kinley Cunningham (Darrin), Brian Smith (Victoria) and Jason Smith (Megan); and his great grandchildren, Chris Cunningham, Cheyenne Carlson (Lars), Johnathan Cunningham, Clyde Smith and Zoey Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
