She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Vazquez and Rogelia Ortiz; and her daughter Zoraida Ayala. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Cordero, Jose Ramos, Alexander Salerno, Myron Salerno and Francis Salerno. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
