Donna Schroeder Obituary
We bid farewell to Donna Schroeder in Bessemer City, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 13, 2024 at the age of 82. Donna touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. "Ches" Mitchell and Leona Hudson Mitchell; her grandparents, Dan, Belle Leach Mitchell, D. F. and Margaret Gamble Hudson; her aunts and uncles, Pauline Hudson Stroup, Zelma Hudson, Mildred Hudson Rhyme, Aubrey Mitchell, David Mitchell and Alfred Hudson; her cousins, Gus Stroup, Ann Stroup Certain, Cheryl Caldwell Hartsell and Doris Ann Hudson Hart; and also, Tom Gault, Roy Schroeder and William Rogers.
She is survived by: her sister Virginia "Ginger" Patterson; her niece Ashley Patterson (Michael Withers); her nephew Duncan Patterson; her aunt Margaret H. Caldwell; her uncle Don Hudson (Lucy); her cousins, Roy Schroeder, Michele Van Hare (Greg) and Shannon Fanning (Mike); her grandchildren, Jason Van Hare (Grace), Sarah Van Hare, Alison Fanning, Lizzy Fanning and Cass Fanning; her great grandchild Magdalena Van Hare; her great-niece Abigail Patterson; her cousins, Mabel Young, Margaret Stroupe, Arlene Milligan, Boyce Hudson, David, Judy and Danny Mitchell; and her pets, Dixie, Gypsy, Mister and Beau. She is also survived by cousins, as well as sisters and brothers.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services (730 Gastonia Hwy, Bessemer City, NC 28016).
