He is survived by: his wife Patsy Carter Wilbanks; his children, Kathy Byrd Moore, Daniel Wilbanks (Elizabeth) and Carl Byrd (Marcia); his grandchildren, Justin Moore and Hannah Brook Rodriguez; and his siblings, Steve Wilbanks (Susan), Mike Wilbanks (Karen) and Teresa Adams. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
