He is survived by: his daughters, Deanna Beattie and Marsha Beattie of Bessemer City; his siblings, Barbara Routhier of Bessemer City, Brenda Diane Absher of Cherryville, Gerald and Martin Beattie of Bessemer City; his grandchildren, Jersey and Montanna Beattie of Bessemer City; his adoptive child Makiyo Taylor (Michael) of Shelby; his grandson Matthew of Shelby; and the mother of his children Elaine Beattie.
