She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Deese and Dessie Taylor Deese. She is survived by: her husband Kirby Visage; her sons, Paul Visage (Tick) and Billy Hooey; her grandchild Lilliam Hooey; and also, Tim, Jackie, Nate-Nate and Chasity.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Levine and Dickson Hospice, 1825 Eastway Drive, Charlotte, NC 28205.
