It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cecil Monroe Nations (Bessemer City, North Carolina), born in Whittier, North Carolina, who passed away on June 9, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Cecil and Lillie Seagle Nations; and his siblings, Muriel Woodard, Regal, Laburn and Claude Nations Jr..

He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Lee Nations of Augusta, GA and Trina Allison (Joe) of Sylva, NC; his granddaughters, Trudy Allison Brackett of Andrews, NC and Traci Allison of Sylva, NC; and his sisters, Wilcie Franklin of Kings Mountain, NC, Ilene Buchanan of Sylva, NC, Vera Nations of Elizabeth City, NC and Chera Lee Parris of Arlington, WA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
