She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Ervin Absher and Bonnie Bridges Absher; and her brother Will Ervin Absher Jr. (Susan Absher). She is survived by: her husband Hal Lovelace; her children, Beth Lovelace Cole (Dave) and Alex Lovelace; her grandchildren, James and Sara Cole; her siblings, Nancy A. England and David J. Absher; and her godson Nicholas Ramseur of Bessemer City. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Long Creek Presbyterian Church, 701 Long Creek , Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
