With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin Mack Beam of Bessemer City, North Carolina, who passed away on December 27, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Flanner and Clara Lineberger Beam; his wife Nancy Jenkins Mitchem Beam; and his siblings, Joe Neal Beam, Albert Charles Beam and Lorene Beam Mahon.
He is survived by: his son Jonathan Calvin Beam; his son-in-law Rick Owen Mobley; his grandson Jackson Coates Beam of Charlotte; his sister Ellen Beam Wilson of Cary; and his close friend Jean Kiser Boone of Bessemer City. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; special friends.
The Beam family has requested in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Calvin may be sent to Antioch Lutheran Church, 330 Old NC 277 Loop Road, Dallas, NC 28034.
