It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda Cook (Bessemer City, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Alton Clark and Vergie Lockridge Clark; her husband Earl Cook; and her brothers, Earl and Roy Clark.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Cook of Bessemer City and Mandy Champion (Michael) of Clover, SC; her grandsons, Tyler and Dylan Champion; her brother James Eugene Clark (Becky) of Gastonia; and her sisters-in-law, Irene Clark, Ruby Willis and Mary Heath. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
