She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Pierson and Virginia Ficham; and her daughter Virginia "Lyn" Simpson. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia "Patty" Simpson and Shannon Simpson; her close friend Judith Campbell; her sister Patricia Pierson; her grandchildren, Brian Locke, Shea Simpson and Christina Wood; and her great grandchild Kamron Wood.
