It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Trakas of Bessemer City, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on March 1, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Manning and Ora Mae Turner; her husband Chris Theo Trakas; her son Thomas Trakas; and her daughter-in-law Melody Foster Trakas.

She is survived by: her child Chris Trakas.
