It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Foster of Bessemer City, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Foster Sr. and Verleen Slayton Foster; and his grandmother Ila Slayton. He is survived by: his former wife Dot Foster; his children, Charlie Crawford, Alfred Foster II, Shilo Canipe, JunBug Crawford Jr., Roger Hegler, Alicia Foster and Paula "Sissy" Crawford; his brother Jeff Foster; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Brittany of Chris, T. J., Alex and Zoi. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
