She was predeceased by: her husband Dwight Colin Kelly; and her parents, Frank Roseman Hand, Sr. and Alice LaVerne Hand. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Kelly (Christopher Lane) of Bermuda Run and David Kelly (Laura) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Elena Kelly of Raleigh, Andrew Kelly of Raleigh, Kenzie Lane, Sierra Lane of Bermuda Run and Sawyer Lane; and her siblings, Frank Roseman Hand, Jr. (Kathy) of Albuquerque and Rebekah Hand Pindzola (Mitch) of Auburn, Alabama..
