He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ray Carter and Lillian Pauline Barnhardt Carter; and his wife Jean Evans Carter. He is survived by: his children, Amy Holland of Canton, Seth Carter (Jessie) of Advance and Daniel Carter of Mocksville; and his grandchildren, Grayson, Jackson, Sophie and Mason.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fork Baptist Church (3140 US-64, Mocksville, NC 27028). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
