It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvette Stryker (Benson, North Carolina), who passed away on July 17, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Yvette has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henriette Houtmann and Nancy; and her husband Emil J. Stryker, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Martine Meilland of France and Maurice Meilland (Caroline) of France; her cousin Jacques Houtmann (Yolaine) of France; and her stepdaughter Sylvie Keller (Stryker). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
