He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Talton "Bill" Barefoot and Grace Thornton Barefoot; his son Timothy Todd Barefoot; and his siblings, Infant Baby Barefoot, Carl O'Brien "Sammy" Barefoot and Billy Edward Barefoot.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Adams Barefoot; his daughter Lisha B. Sholar (Evan); his grandchildren, Bryson Zane Sholar, Evyn Caroline Sholar, Jacob Barefoot and Taylor Lee; his siblings, John E. Barefoot (LaWanda), Rose B. Jackson and Sue B. Britt (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Teresa Barefoot, Mike Adams (Becky) and Gary Adams (Tammy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stones Creek Advent Christian Church (343 Woods Crossroads Rd, Benson, NC 27504). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
