He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Marler and Marvel Belle Jackson Marler; his siblings, Linda Norton, Charles Marler and Gary Marler; and his nephew Andy Marler.
He is survived by: his wife Faye J. Marler; his son Marty Marler (Ceicla) of Dunn; his granddaughter Martina Marler of Dunn; and his sister-in-law Fran Marler of Charlotte.
