He is survived by: his wife Claudette Byrd McLeod; his stepchildren, David Horne and Cassie Chancy; his mother-in-law Sue Byrd; and his siblings-in-law, Doyle, Gene Byrd and Connie Little. He is also survived by his nine step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
