She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlie Tanner and Mary Tanner; her husband Jerry Temple; and her siblings, Bill, Bobby Tanner, Doris Tyndall, Teenie Jernigan and Mary Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Johnson of Dunn, Patty Barbour (Dale Brooks), Linda Johnson (Tim McGill) of Sunset Beach, Billie Scott of Conway, SC and Dawn Barefoot of Dunn; her sisters, Faye Brown of Dunn, Katie Weeks of Clinton, Helen Mckenzie of Clinton and Sue Capps of Dunn; and her grandchildren, Denise Sumner, Marie Parker, Crystal Moore, Porcha Johnson, Buck Johnson, Laura Patel, Jermiah Scott, Joseph Scott and Katelyn Barefoot. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
